Discovered this awesome martial arts fantasy movie from a nice list of movies from A SILENT FLUTE (Which also happens to be the alternative title of the movie). David Carradine looks cool, wears a bell on his toe, does a bit of fighting and plays the flute (I'm guessing Tarantino likes this movie). It's also got probably the coolest monkey costumes and happens to have been written by these 2 dudes.
